The new Aprilia RS4 125, available with the Quick Change Shift


Aprilia has completely renovated its two small super sports, the RS4 RS 50 and 125. The most important new developments are in the larger of the two, you receive a new 4-stroke engine and the innovative gear Aprilia Quick Shift , a technical solution unprecedented in the segment and directly derived from its big brother, the APRC RSV4 .

The Aprilia RS4 125 is offered standard with a six gears, although optionally available with the innovative Quick Shift Aprilia rapid change. The operating principle is similar, but simplified with respect to the RSV4. In the small RS4 manages system power interruption in order to make the gear change depending on the gear engaged, the degree of throttle opening and engine speed, although in the case of the 125 time is changing a fixed constant. The advantage is that the pilot can exit acceleration and gear changing the throttle without using the clutch.

The chassis is another focal point in both models. Is built on the experience of the firm Noale in World Superbike , 125 cc, and consists of a double beam aluminum alloy reinforced with cross nerves.The front suspension is configured around a 41 mm inverted fork with anodized red bottles and travel 110 mm, while the system is used behind mono shock attached to the asymmetrical swingarm. Both models share the brake system: front mounted in a steel disc of 300 mm with radial caliper and four pistons, while the rear has a 220 mm disc with single piston caliper.The 17-inch wheels are fitted with 100/80 tires in front and 130/70 rear. 

The new Aprilia RS 50 and RS4 125 is offered in two colors called Racing Racing Black and White, in addition to the special design SBK Replica, which adopts the colors of the Superbike world champion at the wheel of Max Biaggi .
