Byson Yamaha, Motorcycle Best 2011
Yamaha continues to reap more achievements in future, as one of the top motorcycle manufacturers in India. Variant Yamaha Byson, chosen as Bike of the Year 2011, by a jury Otomotof Award 2011. Motor sport street bike category is getting the best value aside rivals in the category of design, engine performance, handling, fuel consumption, and prices are still high. “This award makes us keep trying to give the best to the consumer country,” said president director of PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia, Dyonisius Beti, the event Otobursa Tumplek Blek 2011.
Yamaha launched its variants Byson in August 2010. Motor is priced Rp19, 9 million OTR Jakarta. Byson has a capacity of 153cc, four-stroke, SOHC, and using air conditioning system. 153cc engine capable of exertion 10.1 PS at 7500 rpm and 10.5 newton meters of torque at 5,500 rpm. Byson which has a total length of 2075 mm, a width of 780mm, and height is 1.045mm. Byson using telescopic fork suspension device 0.41 mm at the front and monoshock at the rear. Byson is also equipped with a tire-sized tubless 100/80-17M on the front and 120/70-17M on the back.Meanwhile, Byson still use a combustion system using a carburetor.
This Byson is same as Yamaha FZ which is been yet to release in India with new sticker works.
